In my zealousness for over-engineering, I put a completely unnecessary I-beam through the middle of the wall, can't quite remember why now!
Apart from that, this is pretty much how the walls above ground will be build, with a timber frame, strawbale infil and a lime render, though the breathability of the render should preclude the need for the vapour barrier.
